My name is James Keen and I am a 17 year old lad who loves to ride bikes. I’ve been riding bikes my whole life and I’ve always loved the outdoors and doing things which are fast, scary or both. Ive been racing since I was 14 and I am now coming up to my last year as an under 18 in the UK Gravity Enduro series, so I decided that this was the year I need to get my head down and do some serious training.
At the end of the 2013 season I had the pleasure of meeting Lucy and Rich from Fit 4 Physio at a scholarship trail. Unfortunately I didn’t get chosen as part of the scholarship but luckily Lucy and Rich decided that they would work with me and help my getting good mobility and the right strength I needed for the 2014 season. Unfortunately 2014 season was not a good one for me suffering from many a crash and having rather a lot of mechanicals which wasn’t ideal, although luck went my way at the last Mini Enduro where I managed to win by a large margin.
Luckily for me I again have the brilliant support from Fit 4 Physio throughout the 2015 season. Throughout the year I’ll be travelling up to Sheffield to catch up with Lucy and Rich and learn more about me as an athlete, progress my conditioning work with new exercises but most importantly to move well and get fitter stronger and faster.
